The way we implement our policies can be broadly divided into four steps:
- Get reference
- Verification (telephonic & direct verification)
- Put request to our FECT friends & collect the requisite funds
- Pay the fees directly to the College & monitor the student for the year
With respect to the educational help we:
- Take up the cases of fresh students, recommended by our friends or those who directly approach us or apply on our website.
- Verify the contact details; speak directly to the affected person by Dinesh or team, review the status and condition of the appeal made.
- Volunteers speak to the concerned student, parent or guardian.
- A physical review is done by visiting the student, re-verify details, and collect mark-sheets.
- Put up funding request through our network and website.
- Collect the donations: and ensure that the fee payments are made directly at the school/college and the receipts are retained by FECT.
- Updation is sent by email to the donors (or through our network) about the student's progress, payments etc.
- Monitoring of the student’s progress is done closely by asking for mark-sheet, help students with training classes who are faring poorly.
With respect to Old Age Homes / Homes for physically or mentally challenged / orphanages:
- We attend to their financial needs about 4-6 times a year
- Review and look out for organisations which are genuinely struggling
- We speak to the management and the inmates
- A wish list is created which entails lists of provisions, medical aid, (chair, plates, fan, inverter, radio, bed sheets), home-made food as per inmates' requests, activity toys for mentally challenged students and in a worst case scenario food on a regular basis.
